BREAKING NEWS: Joseph Izu, footballer shot dead by soldier in Bayelsa state

A Nigerian footballer , Joseph Izu has been shot dead by armed soldiers in Bayelsa State.

The deceased while alive played for  NPFL side Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

This was contained in the tweeter handle of the Ibadan-based club and it reads: “A Shooting STAR is gone! Izu Joseph is gone! Flamboyant defender is gone! RIP, brother. What a life! May God strengthen his family #Tragedy”
